About Us
 
The Courtwick Carriage Company was set up by Chris Lovegrove following an exciting career in the retail motor industry.  Chris started his career as a trainee with the Hendy Ford organisation based on the south coast of England.  He then went on to work as a Sales Specialist within the Aston Martin franchised network.  As Sales Manager for Portfield Sports & Classics in Chichester he also became involved with TVR, AC and Morgan.  From here Chris moved to work for Lancaster Aston Martin part of the Jardine group, opening up their new purpose built solus Aston Martin facility at Reading.  Whilst working for Lancaster Chris won the UK Aston Martin Sales award which was presented to him by the then CEO Bob Dover at the world dealer conference in Monte Carlo.  But Ferrari and Maserati beckoned with Chris joining the team at Maranello in 2001.  He soon became the General Manager of Sales for the three sites at Egham, St Albans and Sevenoaks.  This was a really exciting time with many new product launches for Ferrari and of course the re-birth of the Maserati brand under Ferrari ownership.  As Maranello was part of the Inchcape group an opportunity arose for Chris to go to Australia.  Working in a development role he spent a year based in Sydney working with Subaru, Volkswagen and Kia.  Returning to the UK at the begining of 2007, Chris and his partner Christine moved back to West Sussex and set up the Courtwick Carriage Company.
